UK & Republic of Ireland SIAM section

The SIAM UKIE website has moved to http://www.personal.reading.ac.uk/~sp900945/siamukie/

The section was set up in January 1997 to help UK and Irish SIAM members benefit more from their membership.

Election Results

Following a successful nomination period, the (non-student) members of the UK & Republic of Ireland SIAM Section were asked to elect a new Secretary/Treasurer for the Section. The results are as follows:

• Niall Madden: 27 votes
• Timo Betcke: 37 votes

Timo will take up the position on 1 April 2010. Thank you to everyone that voted.

SIAM UKIE Annual Meeting 2011

The next Annual Meeting of the Section will be held in Manchester. The provisional date is 7 January 2011.
