The balance in the UKIESIAM account at the start of the accounting period,
November 1st 2000, was 507.56 pounds.

Income
------

The only income has been the 2500 US dollars paid by SIAM in two
installments. Unfortunately the first cheque for $750 had to be stopped by
SIAM and expenses were incurred as a result of this. These expenses are
included in the income section however.

  at the BAMC Conference in Reading (April 2001)..  400.00 pounds
* Two 50.00 pounds SIAM prizes for the
  best presentations by students at the
  BAMC Conference in Reading (April 2001).........  100.00 pounds

requesting additional funding of $2500 from SIAM. We anticipate that this
will be spent as follows (using some of our current reserve).

* Annual meeting, University of Leeds (Jan. 11th 2002):    $1000.00
* BAMC SIAM sponsored speaker, Warwick (April 2002):       $ 600.00
* Two student prizes at BAMC, Warwick (April 2002):        $ 150.00
* SIAM support for Householder Meeting, Peebles,
  Scotland (June 2002):                                    $ 425.00
* Two student prizes at the bi-annual NA Summer School,
  Durham (July 2002):                                      $ 150.00
* Support for other UK and Irish meetings:                 $ 300.00
