Kathryn joined the Computational Maths theme in June 2024. Prior to that, she spent time in Switzerland, Czechia, and Germany as a postdoctoral researcher in numerical linear algebra. Her research focuses on the intersection of mathematics and software, particularly in rounding-error analysis, Krylov subspace methods, and functions of matrices. Lately she's been breaking into quantum computing and is open to collaboration opportunities.
